The Certificate of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine Program:

 

The Certificate of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine is a three academic year professional program designed to prepare graduates to be effective, competent.  

The Academy's program can be completed in one calendar year by full-time studies.

The Chinese arts of acupuncture, acupressure, herbal prescription, Qi-Going and meditation are all bases upon the study of the foundation theories of Yin and Yang, the five elements, and eight principles.  The practitioner of traditional Chinese medicine is able to determine the condition of the patient's health by feeling and studying the pulse, observing the tongue, and asking specific questions. Whether the diagnosis in understood and explained in terms of the meridians, the internal Zangfu organs, Qi and blood, nutrition, and lifestyle, the patient's imbalances and practitioner's treatment plan are always unified by the coherent framework which is traditional Chinese medicine (TCM).

 

The Special Program for Licensed Acupuncturists or Medical Professionals:

 

The Academy offers the pre-professional education and training of all licensed acupuncturist and medical professionals.  A special program is offered to the applicants who wishing to get Certificate of Acupuncture (or TCM).  Courses required select course from curriculum, western medicine courses, as well as special elective courses that are varies from term to term.  Minimum 300 hours at the Academy teaching clinic is also required (By WHO).

 

The Master's Degree of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Program (2007):

 

The Master's Degree of Science in TCM is a three academic-year professional curriculum designed to prepare graduates to be effective, competent.  

The Academy's program can be completed in one year by full-time or by part time for three yrs studies.

The Traditional Chinese Acupuncture, Tui-Na acupressure, herbal prescription, Qi-Going, Tai-Ji and Meditation are all based upon the study of the foundation theories of Yin and Yang, the five elements, and eight principles. The practitioner of traditional Chinese medicine will be able to diagnosis patient's health condition by pulse technique, tongue observation, specific questions & skills. Whether the diagnosis in understood and explained in terms of the meridians, the internal Zang Fu organs, Qi and blood, nutrition, and lifestyle, the patient's imbalances and practitioner's treatment plan are always unified by the coherent framework, which is traditional Chinese medicine (TCM).

 

The program also includes basic biomedical, western medicine studies which inc. anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, pathology, pharmacology, X-ray, and etc. as well as medical ethics, clinical business management & computer skills.
